Total Art Soul - For Artists

I have been absent from my blog for a few days but working hard to get ready to show my work again.

There were a lot of hours involved in this drawing but I hope you think it was worth it :)

She is one of the lionessess at the Isle of Wight zoo and I just thought she was wonderfull.  She will be my centrepiece at the Garlic Festival this weekend.

I sometimes watch my cats sleeping and wonder what they are dreaming about.  Their paws twitch like they are running, ears go, noses sniff!!

What do they dream of??

This is what I think Tom dreams of....hunting!!

Giant, colourful butterflies that dance close enough to catch......

......but illusive enough to enjoy the thrill of the hunt!

That is what I think cat dreams are made of :)

I shared the start of a new drawing a couple of days ago and thought you might like an update.

His face is progressing well now though there was a sticky patch with this drawing.

This is one of my cats, Tom.....here is what he is supposed to look like.

Back to work again, it must be finished soon :)
