Morning Creatives :

Like all of my photography peers, we are all trying to market, trying to position our  brands , to reach the most clients. My region is no different to most. Where Portrait & Wedding photography remain , the most attractive areas to possible clients.

 For quite sometime now, Fineart photography has been pulling at my heart.  I want to shoot and print images with a little more uniqueness  to the imagery.

I have always said, that one day I wanted a Fineart Gallery.. The time has come for me to chase that dream !!

Evening Everyone:

One in a while my wife and I spend quality time "Shopping " But yesterday we went to a new "Warehouse "  in the neighboring city.

 I went looking for some mats to go with some new prints I had recently finished. My wife called me to come over to see what you had found.

These people were selling canvas wrapped  pieces they were  about 4feet by 2feet  for  f10.00 or

$15.00

Can any of you get a Canvas made that cheaply ?

How can we give our art any value, when people can by massed produced so cheaply.

Evening everyone:

 What am I marketing ?  This was a question that was asked of me on Twitter. And it got me thinking, exactly what is it that I'm  marketing ?

Firstly I'm a Outdoor photographer that shoots images from a variety of outdoor themes. But the work I enjoy  shoot most is imagery that simply takes a person to a tranquil place if only for a few seconds . Also I do an occasional  portrait session!

  My dream one day is to run a  Fineart gallery... where the speciality is simply images that will make your home, your office a peaceful tranquil place.

  With me having been blessed with a HIgh Street location to  display my imagery . I can start leaving a mark on people that are "Interior Decorators"  Art Buyers  or people who just appreciate Mother Earth and all she stands for!!

Also... Mrs Pauline...Does alterations, and makes some sweet quilts for you ladies that enjoy Quiliting.
