Sleepy happiness
More and more times I noticed how sleep and pariculary naps help my life. I get moody sometimes. And sometimes, really moody. Sometimes little things upset me so much that I just start crying. I can blame it on women's hormones or the fact that I'm a Pisces (and that in itself just means oversensitive, moody personality), but that doesn't help my mood. What does help it is a good nap. 9/10 times I will wake up in a completely different & positive state of mind. Add some of my favourite food to that, along with a nice walk on the beach while listening to some good tunes and now I've become a totally happy human being in love with life =) just like that!

Oh, the happy wonders of simple things in life.

Today was a strange day. I have only been retired for roughly two weeks and still feel like I'm on vacation. I do everything quickly because I feel like I've got to hurry and get things done before I have to go back. This morning I woke up with a headache and general feeling of exhaustion. Not sure why but after walking the furry kids, something that is expected by them every morning at the crack of dawn, I laid back down on the couch and pretty much slept the morning away. Now I know that sometimes we should just let ourselves do this, just take a day and relax, but I felt so guilty that I hadn't gotten anything done. I finally got up around noon and started moving around. I had some things ending on eBay and had to wash and iron some hand dyed fabric and get them packed up. So, I guess I got something done. But I wish I could just take a whole day and do absolutely nothing. Guess it's not in my nature to rest, I come from a long line of doers...LOL
