wow that is amazing
there is a little patch of flowering (??) moss on top of the wall next to my house and I am going to be watching it every morning for dewdrops now currently too cold for those

once spent a whole day trying to get the entire upside down reflection images in drops hanging off wild rose stems in my hedge, it sort of worked after about 300 photos!


lady's mantle (alchemilla) has a way of holding water drops that is very pretty

no not 'flowering' - mosses are older than flowering plants. They are sporophytes, mostly close to maturity I think.

That photo was taken in mid-November, on a dry-stone wall at the edge of Blea Tarn, but I don't know how seasonal moss is - I suspect not very!
