Total Art Soul - for artists

Hi all,

well i began from humble origins being a traditional artist.

I only came to digital art about 2 years ago & use it as much as painting with a brush...i find it a great way to break the monotony as well as enhance the images that flit through my mind every ten seconds ;-D

At the moment i am using Photoshop cs4 as well as daz 3d, bryce, vue & poser.

All have proven worthy in my quest to further develop my creativity, though i do find daz 3d more powerful and simpler to use than poser.

Hi everyone! I'm a digital artist as well as paint traditionally in oils, acrylics, pastels, graphite, colour pencil etc.

I started digital painting in July last year, I mostly use Painter XI and my wacom intuos 4. I really only use it as a very expensive canvas and paint brush...really should learn to use some of the power in the program, but I just never seem to have enough time!

i'm the same southwest...i see it as just a natural extension to traditional canvas and it has helped me learn more about techniques i can try in the normal method.
