Total Art Soul - for artists

We have changed the format of the video uploads. You will no longer be able to do this from your profiles but from the link at the bottom of the page.

Click on videos (bottom of page), click upload and enter the url of your YouTube or Google video, select the only category there is and then click Add.

We felt that having this format would mean that it would work more like the gallery so that everyone stays visible for a while. We hope this helps musicians and maybe even film makers. Each video you upload will have your profile link attached so people can come and find your personal profile details.

They look great. Thanks Peter. I suspect it will take a little while for people to get used to having this feature but I'm doing my best to publicise it.

I made a mistake at first with my YouTube video. Thought it was the embed code that was going into the form, but it was the link to the video.
Once I figured that out it was a piece'a'cake

Might just do it again when I challenged my PC by painting in high resolution and do a screen capture at the same time

Excellent! I hope more of you will upload videos as I think it's a great feature to have. The ones that are here have already had a lot of hits, particularly the tutorial.

I made the same mistake as you Christa, at first - wish I'd read this topic before I attempted to upload the embed code 47 times! (joking, I only tried 3 times before trying the URL instead!!!)

This feature will encourage me to do more slideshows of my work as I create it, and is probably a good way of looking back at your work too.
