Hi -- MY Blog Will NOT Save or Publish 1 Year, 6 Months ago

I've tried twice to add a blog to my profile, but when I hit "Save", nothing happens -- NO screen change, NO cues that anything has happened, ... NOTHING.
The blog tool seems NOT to work.

Hi. We've just tested and it's working fine. Other members have added blogs recently so there is no issue that we can see.
Could you tell us which browser you are using? Also, give us the steps you are taking. Are you not getting a save progress bar?

Thanks for responding. I'll try again.
Okay, I tried again, and still NOTHING.
I filled in the metadata. I created my content. I clicked on "save", and NOTHING. Nothing happens. NO screen change. NO cues of status. ... NOTHING.
Also, I tried to add an image. The image is loaded successfully in the blog, but I cannot post it. When I click on the thumbnail under "browse", here is the message I get:
"Image imbed only works in WYSIWYG editor mode"
Nothing happens. The page just is NOT responding.
I'm using Internet Explorer browser, which is all that is available to me.

Hi Robert
I have had a look, I can see that you are using IE7, which could be part of the problem, as it is rather old, and suggests to me that the PC you are using is not up to date with all the correct patches, updates etc.
Also, it looks like that you are on a computer in a public place, which could have a bearing on it, they may have restrictions in place on the computers there. On Windows XP, if you don't have full admin rights, this can cause errors.
If this PC is in a public place, then they should make sure that all patches and updates are in place, at least for security reasons. XP must have Service Pack 3 to be sure that most things work ok.
One test you could do, is to download Firefox and install it, then try to log in to the site using FF to see if you have the same issues, let me know how you get on....

SUCCESS !
What I had to do was download a portable version of Mozilla to a U3-ready flash drive, so that I could use the Mozilla browser on this public access computer.
This has forced me to learn how to use Mozilla on my U3 flash drive, so something positive came out of the struggle here.
Your blog editor looks totally different (in terms of details) than it does on Internet Explorer.
