I actually enrolled here ages ago then life sort of went upside down. I am now relocated and starting up afresh. I am a wood turner, part time professional and try to make things that are practical as well as beautiful.I also do purely decorative work. I am not sure if I am allowed to post shop URLs here so won't unless given the go ahead in order to display some of my work

I'm in the same boat as you, Blu. I think there are so many places to visit and chat online, it's difficult keeping up with them all. Life also got in the way a bit for me, but I did like this page when it was busy!

I signed up several years ago and lost track of this site. have been busy with expanding my jewelry making skills, custom orders, and my elder daughter's upcoming marriage for which I am fabricating the engagement ring and wedding bands. other social media is sucking up my time, too, especially facebook, and pinterest which seems to be the hot trend now. will try to visit more often.

I guess when I first joined TAS I thought the members would be more chatty, but after making friends with and five or six people, I really am only in regular contact with one member.

I have cut back on my Internet use, since I seem to have joined more than I can handle. Yes I joined Pinterest too! funny it was Cathy that got me started on Pinterest, although I only pin a few each week.

I joined a few groups on Facebook, and I had always said I don't like Facebook.

I like Twitter, but hate being bombarded with ONLY things for sale.

I joined G + but I do get snowed under with contact requests, I guess I am a bit lost!
