Hi Hayley,
It is such a pleasure to meet you. I was nicely surprised to see another South African. I was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa before I came to live in Canada - my Mom still lives in Kwazulu Natal.
I recently made a trip to Paris last year and fell in love with France and the French people. I am married to a French Canadian and we are planning to one day go there for an extended stay.
Welcome to TAS. I am sure that you will enjoy this community of artists from all over the world. Cathy does such an excellent job with this website.

hi! a south african, how nice! its a little bit of "home" when you hear from another south african. Yes, France is so lovely, the culture is just really different to SA, especially up here in north france.

how wonderful to talk with people from diverse places, well for me anyway! Being French Canadian and raised in Richmond, Virginia, the so called good ole South!
