Total Art Soul - for artists

Gee, where do I start?...My main occupation is that of a factory worker. I am a weekend artist mainly. I am currently doing a lot of portraits in pastel, but I have done oil and watercolor painting too. Like you perhaps I am still learning (when it comes to art do we ever stop?) and hope that my efforts today will lead to my chance to be that 'artist' I've always wanted to be.

I look forward to connecting with positive, creative, people who love this thing called 'art' and want to learn from, and be inspired by, everyone here. Thanks for taking the time to read my blabber, hope to connect with you soon.

cmgolden, I am really so impressed with your work. I also read that you work in a factory? Why?!!! You surely must be able to work full time as an artist. Your work is outstanding.

Ahh.. Cathy you make it sound so easy. At this moment I know nothing about 'self employment' so to just throw away my present income with all the money I owe at this time would be a bit hasty. But it is something I am thinking about and beginning to take it more seriously as time goes by. I have been concidering taking a business management course, and I have a sister who was self employed as well.
