Working with fabrics used to be my passion. Near the end I found fleece, you could sculpt with it.

I also love to work with linen and silk and yesterday I made a bag with an old pair of cotton jeans and a piece of linen here is the finished bag if you would like to see it.

Love this subject and I shudder when I think of polyester hate the feel and texture. I am a hoarder of linens and silks, if you had seen the table where I did a french reinventing textiles last week, very swoon worthy. It was just piled high and we could use what we wanted hence my title The Day I Died and went to heaven. Some pictures on my blog if you want to have a look

Ooo, how lovely! I used to give lectures on interior design and always had piles of fabric samples on the table. People used to love looking through those.
