I have to admit I am now very intrigued to try felting wool with lace components. My Mum is an antiques dealer (more of a collector now) but recently was very generous and gave me a huge portion of her lace collection. Some pieces are to precious to cut into so they will eventually go to a museum perhaps, but I have many sample bits of 30's lace which I like to incorporate into my couture designs. I like the idea of using vintage lace in some nuno felted scarves...

Very nice blog post Krishenka
What an amazing place you stayed at.

Almost every piece of fabric makes me to imagine a new soft doll I can make out of it

I would love to work with designer's fabrics I have seen at DECOREX this September and I will, but the little cotton girl's dress from local charity shop is able to turn into lovely hugable creature too.

I like all nice-to-touch materials, it is great to combine various surfaces like cool silky one with fluffy and soft another one.
