I create full time (Product & Stock Photography) so a studio is a must for me.

I just moved into a larger space and am loving it. I have a covered porch off of my studio with an outdoor storage closet, a full bathroom with 2 sinks and a closet full of my kitchen props, a huge walk in closet and plenty of space. The more I can move around all my lights and props in the studio the more creative I can be.

Wanted to show my space(s) off

I technically have 2 studios right now. My home studio is normally much bigger, but due to some cramped quarters, my space at home had to be pretty condensed.(pic attached below)


My second space is my tattoo studio, this one is away from home. I really wish this space was bigger. I'm hoping to upgrade my studio in the next year or so, and move all of my home studio stuff out!

I finally got a photo and keep forgetting to post it! This is where it the soap & candles happen...

I agree with thornwoodstudio about the "fire hose" to the creative moment. Not having a specific place to create my jewelry designs kept me uninspired for quite some time. I finally pushed my husband over and took half of his office at home (sorry honey!). Still, I could use even more space, but this certainly beats the living room or the kitchen table! I'm actually getting a lot done.

I'm so envious! Your spaces all look so organized and clean. I'm stuck in an attic with no insulation, no plastered walls etc. Never mind, at least I have a space.

Reef, we have some friends locally here who produce soap and candles but strict rules say that they cannot do them in the same room. We're in France and they are inspected once a month. I was very surprised that it seemed so strict but they say that anything people put on their skin, must have stringent controls. They even have to send samples off to a laboratory each month too. They have a separate workshop to make their candles.
