It is interesting the differences between rules in different countries. The French always were good at making things difficult and complicated.

Personally, I could not live with myself if I caused someone to be in pain or discomfort. I'm sure some people don't care though.

It's so important to say exactly what's in your products just in case someone has a reaction to one of them. I say this because the people that make these soaps here in France, use 5% donkey milk and in the summers, they used to give little guided tours and let people taste the milk. One person, who knowingly had a major lactose allergy, tasted it! Even though there was a huge sign up. She collapsed and the ambulance had to be called. Thankfully she was OK but a very scary experience for our friends and they now no longer have visitors.

I took over my son's bedroom when he left home, repainted and bought a new desk/hutch setup. It's where I do my writing and photo-editing work. For years, though, I worked in a cramped corner with a "desk" of cinderblocks and a door across them. If someone wants to create, they'll find a way. No fancy studio required.

Since I started this thread, I have taken over my second bedroom as my studio.........It is heaven! I have everything in one room and am not spread out all over the house.

That's wonderful Marilyn! It's looking like we're going to renovate part of our house to make a gallery/studio. If all goes well, we will open 1st June. I will certainly be posting images. Fingers crossed our plans come to fruition.
