I completely accept that galleries know their clientele but I would so much rather that they just said that! Jeeez, I've been asking myself this question for months! lol

I agree with you mooaany. I'm very lucky that I get many commissions so I'm not too worried about the galleries any more. Thank you for putting up my zebras painting. That one is now hanging in a chateau here in France.

This is why I went into 3D design instead of a more traditional medium. The nebulous nature of the art world drove me to distraction. I much rather prefer the structured nature of 3d. Basically everything you work on will the answer to a problem, part of something bigger. From creating a joyful robot to medical animations, its easier to label whether it works or not.

That's great you could do that Michelle. Me, I'm not techie, nor do I have a logical mind so that that 3D stuff kind of does my nut in. lol Thank God I've got Joe!

That is so true..."Art that makes you feel something"....If it doesn't make a connection why would I want it in my life?
That is what I ask myself. But that is MY way so each one has to decide for themselves, I guess.
The Zebras are stunning and I can see why that collector loves it in that beautiful space!

The ability to create 3d is wonderful, the ability to create a 3d effect on a 2d support to me is thrilling. The great thing? we all do things a bit differently!
