Total Art Soul - for artists

Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself here ...

I found this site through Twitter. Not sure if I can link directly to my blogspot http://www.carolchretien.blogspot.com ... I blog several times a week with WORK IN PROGRESS images of my Oils and stories of how and why I am painting a particular piece.  I support the work of grass roots rescues and non-profit shelters who are trying to help homeless animals find forever homes.

My studio is in my home (pictures can be found on my blog)  and I paint full time. My Studio companion is our 16 yr old cat Emmi...and my other Muse is Lizzie, our 11 yr old Dalmatian. Both have been my models many times and they constantly inspire me.

Living in New England and working from here I have been able to help with funding rescues from coast to coast and my artwork has been purchased around the world.  It is very humbling heart and soul work for me. It became my passion starting a decade ago. My clients over the years have become friends. I have done many commissions and portraits, some have been memorials.

I paint daily, am a founding artist member of the artist fellowship ART HELPING ANIMALS, I have lots of web presence for my work and a good variety of my work in all genre can be seen on my web site. www.carolchretien.com  I am always available by email for any questions  or to say hello. 

I LOVE being an artist. I am happy to show some of my work here with others who have their hearts in their art!
